Who is Wetterling Gallery?
Founded in 1978, Wetterling Gallery is one of the leading galleries for contemporary art in Scandinavia. We are based in Stockholm, Sweden, and consider ourselves a long-term partner for artists, collectors, institutions, and visitors.
How do I know these are “good” works of art?
All works published on our site are a result of a careful selection process in direct collaboration with our artists. In most cases, the works have been exhibited in our main gallery in Stockholm, as well as in various international exhibitions. You can find updated information about each artwork, as well as its artist, by browsing through the available art pieces.
Does the artist benefit when I buy a work of art from Wetterling Gallery?
Yes, we only sell artworks in collaboration with the artist. They are directly benefitted from each sale - when buying art online through Wetterling Gallery, you are supporting the careers of the artists who create those works.
I have questions about art I'm considering. Is there someone I can talk to?
Our Gallery Director is available to answer any questions on the artwork we offer, from where the price of an artwork comes from, to what may have inspired the artwork's title, and everything in between. You can reach us by email at info@wetterlinggallery.com or by submitting your thoughts through our contact page.
Do artworks come framed?
No, unless specified in the artwork page. Should you prefer to have your artwork framed by us, please do contact us by email after placing your order, and we will send you a quote before shipping the order.
Where do we ship?
We ship to most destinations worldwide. Should there be any issues with shipping to your location, we will contact you prior to having your order shipped.
Tracking your order
We provide all customers with a tracking link as soon as the artwork is shipped, or else will do our best to keep you updated on shipping status if a tracking link is not available. You can always reach out to us to inquire about the status of your delivery.
Taxes and Duties
All artworks are shipped from Sweden and include EU VAT.
We do not charge you for import duties or applicable taxes outside of the EU; instead, your shipping carrier will forward the invoice for those charges to you separately. Duties and taxes cannot be recovered if a work is returned to us.
Can I return an artwork?
We offer a 14-day return policy for online purchases, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return regardless of return reason. You can read more about our return procedure here.
